The tenth version of Microsoft`s universal player in wXP version for almost every type of multimedia file, or at least that`s what they say....



In this tenth version they have focussed on giving it new graphics, that don`t take up a lot of disc space and above all easy recording; you can record a WMA file directly to an audio CD and viceversa, which saves time and adds to the simplicity of the operation.



They have optimized the jukebox characteristics, to make sure it doesn`t occupy too much space, and they even say it is less space than previous versions (from our tests we can`t confirm this exactly, but we didn`t notice any increase over previous versions).



Apart from the internal improvements (which are patented), the external look is quite distinctive, and doesn`t look as rough as previous versions, though it`s not exactly cutting edge. They have also made the library storage and administration a bit simpler, but with no important changes. If you are familiar with previous versions, you`ll have no problems managing all your multimedia files.



It is really a new version, with few external changes, but making an important step towards the perfect player.
